Arabescato Corchia

Discover Corchia, a classic white Italian marble from the southern Carrara area. This Arabescato type marble features elliptical boulder shapes and grey or bluish-grey veins on a cream to white background. The best blocks have minimal yellow in the white centers, known as “eggs” in Arabescato. Located above the town of Levigliani inside a mountain, the quarry is similar to the Cervaiole Quarry but with limited production in winter months. Corchia is one of the main types of Arabescato available, offering a spectrum of qualities. When we come across a perfect block, we acquire it immediately due to its rarity.
