What Is Granite?
Granite is an igneous rock known for its light-coloured appearance, characterised by visible grains that can be observed without the aid of magnification. This rock forms through the gradual crystallization of molten magma beneath the Earth’s surface.
Granite primarily consists of quartz and feldspar, along with smaller quantities of minerals such as mica, amphiboles, and others.
These mineral components typically give granite its distinctive colours, which can range from red and pink to grey or white, with dark mineral grains interspersed throughout the rock.
Due to its formation process as a natural stone that originates from molten rock cooling under intense pressure, granite is exceptionally durable and hard.

Where Does Granite Come From?

How Is Granite Extracted?

Once the granite has been successfully freed from its geological confines, it is either loaded onto trucks or, depending on the mining company’s practices, processed on-site.
The extracted granite slabs undergo a polishing procedure to eliminate any impurities or unevenness before being dispatched to fabricators.
